there are so many lovely resources across the interwebs to teach you how to code, or that are resources for graphics! i won't link w3schools here because i think it's pretty well known, but if you haven't heard of it, you should check it out!

hillhouse: is where i got the lace images that border my site. she also shares code snippets and other resources.

broider: is where you can create pixel borders, there's also a gallery of other borders you can use.

egrampixels: is a tumblr blog that has collected pixel art for use, sorted by tags

32-bit cafe: a resource list for building your own personal website!

jasminnie: pixels made by an artist for free personal use. lots of super cute favicons!

wilderness land: a website built like a map with hidden websites across it, so many cool things in here

walky space: where you can make your own webspace and decorate it, and edit other's as well

lolita history gallery: largest lolita history database of old magazine scans and brand catalogues

ismatu gwendolyn's substack: i love their essays
